MIKE W. BELCHER & AMK COMICS
Mike W. Belcher is an eastern Kentucky-based writer/guy who draws. A graphic designer by day, he works on comic projects when he has the time. For the last four years, he’s been focused on making up stories for his all ages MAN IN THE MASK series of books. It’s the story of a grandson continuing the masked identity of his grandfather, but in his own way.

Hailed as a “breath of fresh air,” the series has garnered positive reviews by readers and pros alike. 2019 marks the publication of the first issue of the new regular series which features an eight page backup story by legendary writer Mike Baron (Nexus, Badger).

OLD WORLD COMICS
Old World Comics
was founded by head writer and creator, Todd Goodman, and hosts such diverse comics as the comedic superhero title, Smells Like Pulp Comics with artist Tyler Carpenter, the supernatural thriller Empty Skull with Marcelo Briseno, and the slice-of-life graphic novel, The Book on Me with Briana Higgins and the new sequel, Buy the Book with artist Grace Bolin.  In January of 2016, Old World Comics opened a subsidiary, Killer Serials, which features prose serialized stories such as the best-selling All Hallows Eve and POE: Between Reality, Imagination and Madness.  Visit the websites at www.oldworldcomics.weebly.com and www.killerserials.weebly.com.

JOE MEADE
Joe is an eastern Kentucky native with a love for writing, storytelling, and tabletop games, especially in the fantasy genre. These interests, coupled with nearly 30 years of experience with various roleplaying games, made it a natural progression for him to create his own roleplaying game.


Joe’s company, NOBLE QUESTS, LLC, has recently released the “Mystic Forces Second Edition” roleplaying game, along with several adventure modules and sourcebooks. Mystic Forces Second Edition is an in-depth, high-fantasy roleplaying game that is the culmination of 23 years of work and revision.
Joe is also the author of a recently published book of short stories titled, “Troves of Fantasy” and has a fantasy board game, “Omens of Destiny”, in the works!

RONALD R. VAN STOCKUM, JR.
Ronald R. Van Stockum, Jr. is a lawyer, teacher, biologist, writer, guitarist, and recently an actor living on his family's old farm in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

He has a B.S. in Biology from Santa Clara University, and a M.S. and PhD. in Biology from the University of Louisville. He also has his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Louisville and practices law from offices in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He concentrates his legal practice in environmental law, and his biologic research in historical phytogeography. Dr. Van Stockum, Jr. has published numerous books, articles, and short stories in the areas of law, science, and creative writing.

MERMAID LAGOON BOUTIQUE
Heather Little is a sculptor artist who sculpts fantasy scenes and creatures. From Mingo county WV, she started Mermaid Lagoon Boutique on Etsy three years ago. Using polymer clay, epoxy sculpt and different types of resins, she brings her fantasy scenes to life in her jewelry and decor creations. Each item is hand sculpted without using any molds, making each piece one of kind.

KURT BELCHER

Kurt Belcher is a writer and artist from eastern Kentucky.  He was educated in the art program at the University of Kentucky.
He was first published in the FANZING PRESENTS: JOB WANTED anthology for Shooting Star Comics in 2003.  Since then, his writing and art have been published regularly in anthologies (SPX ANTHOLOGY 2004) and magazines (BOOK OF DARK WISDOM).  He has drawn UNIMAGINABLE for writer Tom Pinchuk, published by Arcana Comics, SON CHASERS and THE STARS (which he also wrote) for Pilot Studios, STINK and ROTTENTAIL for Source Point Press, WINTER WAR for Caliber Comics (which he also wrote).
He still lives in eastern Kentucky, with three dogs and a big yard.

ASHTON JOHNSON  FOX & BRAMBLE
Kentucky born and raised artist, Ashton Johnson, has been honing her skills in graphic design and illustration for the past several years. Currently working as a graphic designer and baker.


She has been published in several books including AvantAppal(achia), and Inscape Magazine, and has had art displayed in galleries and shops around the state. You can see her work in many local schools and businesses.  Her brand Fox and Bramblesshowcases her illustration and design work by melding the natural with the unnatural and focusing on strange animal forms.

CHUCK MULLINS
Chuck W. Mullins is from the Appalachian mountains of eastern Kentucky. Raised in a poor family and small town community, he is the youngest of six. Chuck found great pleasure drawing superheroes as a child and began to hone his art skills at a very young age. He remembers drawing before he could read and write. Showing an eye for detail Chuck won the high school art award and furthered his craft at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky where he graduated on the dean’s list with a 4.0 GPA on his last 3 semesters. He lived and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator in Pontiac Michigan and Lexington Kentucky. He has 25+ years of experience in Illustrations, Fantastic Art, Graphic Design, Commercial Art and more. He has won many awards including National, tri-state, state, city and local art contests.
He is currently working on a personal project for an epic adventure graphic novel in the super hero/fantasy genre. Other endeavors include comic art posters and covers, fantasy art and heroic art in fine art galleries.

TIM FULLER
Tim Fuller began self-publishing his cartoons in Hooha Comics in 1978. He contributed the series “The Blue Beagle,” to Fantagraphics’ Critters and “Cap’n Catnip” to Charlton Bullseye. Timcreated countless strips and cartoons for various fanzines, mini comics and magazines, including The Comic Buyers Guide and Starlog.
In 2006, after a self-imposed exile from making comics, Tim began actively creating and
publishing his cartoons again. Tim’s ongoing projects include “The New Adventures of Cap’n Catnip” with Craig Boldman and Daryll Collins, and SHAM Comics, his rewritten golden age stories for Source Point Press.

Flippy The Dachshund is a real life Wonder Wiener starring in her very own comic book/coloring book series! Along with her sidekick Zombie Stardust, and parents Dennis and Jerri Warren, Flippy travels up and down the east coast of the USA to comic conventions, toy shows, flea markets, festivals, and celebrations of all kinds, spreading joy and cheer everywhere she goes. Flippy offers a unique and fun entertainment experience unlike any other, suitable for children and adults alike! Every Flippy live appearance features a personal petting zoo and coloring station, where folks can interact one on one with Flippy and Zombie, color and purchase their books, or even pick up a genuine paw autograph signed by the Wonder Wieners themselves! Parents Dennis and Jerri Warren create the books (with Flippy's direction, of course) and also offer a wide variety of handcrafted items, art, vintage comic books, magazines, antique books, toys, rock n roll, and pro wrestling memorabilia.

HIVEFORGE CHAINMAIL

Making a triumphant return to Pikeville Comic Con, Hiveforge Chainmail is owned and operated by Derek Weatherbee, a Western New York native and long-time resident of Southwest Virginia. A fan of Transformers, Final Fantasy, the Cosmere, and Pathfinder, he has been making chainmail jewelry and accessories for 6 years, and selling at various events for the last 4 years. Rodney Fyke
Rodney is writer and versatile artist who pencils, inks, and colors his many of his own projects.  
He is the creator of Peanut, Puddin’ n’ Jelly and Pitter Patter both published though Hazzum Productions  which he started with his partner Tina McElhinney.  He also recently finished writing Hazzum’s latest project Roadkill Rampage and is also working on a project with Todd Goodman of Old World Comics called Clowns.   
In addition to his comic projects, Rodney is currently working as a sketch card artist on a Marvel Project and recently completed a Miramax project both for Upper Deck.  
Rodney is available for commissions and does live art at conventions.  Be sure to stop by his table to pick up a piece of his original art for your collection.
